This is truly a sad story...and laughable at the same time. Tatum O'Neal was busted over the weekend while she was trying to buy crack and cocaine near her Manhattan apartment. Tatum has a looong, long list of substance abuse problems, dating all the way back to her teenage years.
When Tatum was first busted, she asked if the cops knew who she was. She then quickly said she was researching a movie role. the drugs weren't for her. Yeahhhhh, right.
Now word has come out today and she blames someone else. And this someone is dead! Tatum says she was distraught over the loss of her dog and went to seek out help. Help in the form of drugs.
She is grateful the cops caught her before she spiraled out of control. She is grieving over the loss of her dog from three weeks ago and forgot herself for a moment.
Hmmmm...you buying it?
