Role Model Richie?

Nicole Richie, a former heroin user who is now facing DUI charges, warns fans not to aspire to her wayward ways.
"I don't walk around pretending that I'm perfect, so I don't think anyone should hold me to that,” Nic told Nylon magazine. “The dangerous thing is that there are 16-, 17-, 18-year-olds that people consider to be role models. I'm so happy I wasn't famous back then. You'd think I was the devil."
But when it comes to an even more “weighty” issue, the “Simple Life” star is determined to thin-out the rumors.
"It's really sad how obsessed America is with weight. It's sick,” she said. "I've never gone a day without putting food in my mouth. I've never sewn my mouth shut. I've never gone on a liquid diet. So I want to know why I'm the face for a problem."
As for the question on everybody’s lips — is the Tinseltown tiny expecting?
According to In Touch Weekly, Richie and rocker beau Joel Madden were busted buying baby books at Barnes & Noble last week.
“They were in the children’s section looking at baby books,” shopper Ruth Suarez snitched to the mag. “They were holding hands and seemed like a really cute couple.”
In Touch also recently reported that Richie has quit cigarettes and alcohol, and even went as far as to get out of a car after a friend lit up.
