Obama Tells Lindsay Lohan No Thanks

Ha! If this isn't fitting tribute for speaking out. Lindsay Lohan offered to host a few political events for young people on behalf of Barack Obama in Chicago. Except Obama's people said no thanks....we don't need your reputation to 'help'. That's quite a diss....ha ha ha.

And that is funny, especially after Lindsay blasted Sarah Palin on her blog last weekend. Maybe Lindsay changed her mind on the Republicans, now, huh? You try and help and the Democrats kick you in the teeth. Typical...unless you are paying them money to campaign.

Will Lindsay change her tune now that she was rejected by Obama???

The Palin's = New Kennedy's

The Palin family is stealing the show for the Republicans...and the democrats. With the awesome speech delivered by Sarah Palin Wednesday night - and no matter if you like her or not, you have to admit it was a darn good performance. She was calm, cool and had perfect delivery of her lines.

But her family was in the spotlight too. Her eldest son was on leave from the Army and present with his buzz cut, as well as the other four children and future husband to 17 year old Bristol. Her family and her, no matter if they win or lose this election, will become and remain very popular.

Their life looks like what the Kennedy's did back in the 1950s and 1960s. They are young, smart, funny, good looking and there are a bunch of them. How can you not have drama when you have three teen-agers in the house? Then there is 7 year old Piper who stole the show when she spit pomaded her down syndrome brother's hair. It was a perfect 'real' moment.

That moment, along with the presence of the whole family presenting a united front, will gain much attention. They are the new camelot for America, symbolizing that life does happen, in the romanticized last frontier of Alaska. They have a child in the messy war, they have a special needs child, they have a pregnant teen and a large family. WHo can't relate to this group?

And Sarah did mention her sister...maybe she wants to pursue politics and make it a larger family political machine soon?
