Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin

John McCain seemed to know what he was doing after all when he popped Sarah Palin as his VP pick. There is more interest now in National politics than there has been in months! Maybe even years - since we had a sex scandal and Bill Clinton in office.

Why? Sex is interesting, especially when it is two people having it who should not be!

Sarah Plain's 17 year old daughter Bristol is the unfortunate target right now. She and boyfriend hunk Levi Johnston will be parents by Christmas. Does he look like he wants to be a baby daddy? Nope. He looks like he wanted to play hockey and play the field. He can't and won't do either any more.

So, what happens if McCain wins the election and Palin moves to the VP house? Does she move Bristol and her new husband in with them, since they are so young? It will be like trailer trash moving in on Pennsylvania Avenue. Real life America finally hits Washington!!

People keep calling them trailer trash, but honestly . . . I've known some really good decent people who live in trailers. It takes wealth and political sense of entitlement to create a situation this goofy.

So the VP candidate just had a baby MONTHS ago, and now she is having her first grandchild by her teen daughter. Maybe she is a little too busy with her own pesonal issues to take on a national office. Alaska you might be able to run between lamaze classes and taking care of grandbaby, but I don't think the office of VP will allow the time.

I forget who once characterised the office of VP as 'not worth a bucket of warm spit', but if it's true, "She's a lumberjack" Palin and co will fit right in. And they won't need the Veep House - they can park the trailer in the Rose Garden.
