According to Life & Style Magazine, Katie Holmes has careered from Cruise control to film “Mad Money” in Louisiana.
The Melrose mom is reportedly using the time spent from Tom’s tight grip to reclaim parts of her past, which includes reconnecting with her former friends and family. “The Gift” star has apparently called childhood galpal Meghann Brie, who she hasn’t hung with since hooking up with Tom two years ago.
“She wanted to talk to someone not in Camp Cruise,” another friend told the mag. “Katie told Meghann she can’t believe she abandoned her old life.”
And while “Top Gun” Tom may have converted his wife to Scientology, it seems Holmes may “Cruise” back to Catholicism.
Life & Style reports that the brunette beauty has been secretly speaking to pastors for advice, and would love to enroll Suri into “kiddie Catholicism” classes.
Perhaps the young mom also had an urge to reconnect with her pals in the police department.
As reported by US Weekly, Holmes was perturbed by two persistent paps while visiting the local Louisiana Target last Friday. So she had her handlers call the cops who came to the rescue and escorted her through the canals of clothing.
