...or her job. She withdrew her name from the Emmy Awards ballot for her role as Dr. Stevens on Grey's Anatomy. She said her performance wasn't worthy of an Emmy, basically because the writers sucked. Ouch!
She almost guaranteed her role next year to suck as well! She had said earlier in the year she wanted out of her contract to pursue more movie roles. Was this her way of trying to get fired and released from the contract? Seems like it. Who says the writers of their character suck and that the storyline wasn't good? Not ones who obviously want to keep their jobs.
What do you think? Deliberate or the gracious thing to do?
And if she wants to jump from TV to romantic comedies, she should talk to Jennifer Aniston first.
