Christina Applegate Had a Double Masectomy

Christina Applegate is taking the public awareness campaign of breast cancer one step further. I don't believe any famous - especially young and gorgeoous - woman has admitted to having a double masectomy before. This is a true Hollywood first if you ask me.

Very, very brave of Christina to admit it. Hopefully this won't affect her acting roles, since she has talent in addition to her beauty.

We wish her well on a speedy recovery!!

That's so awful. I thought she might have got to it before having to have the extreme surgery. The poor poor woman!
I know of a singer celebrity who had to have one breast removed, but that fact was never made public.
