It's been about 24 hours since Sarah Palin's name was announced as John McCain's running mate. And yet, TWO skeletons have fallen out of the closet and stirred up controversy for the Republicans.
This is more fun than a barrel of monekys...McCain's camp couldn't have asked for better attention...attention quickly taken away from Obama and his awesome speech...
Anyway, here is controversy #1, which is eh...so-so. Supposedly, Palin wanted her former brother in law fired from a public servant post. It didn't happen and she was investigated.
#2 is a bit steamier...the stuff soap operas are made of. Wait, Desperate Housewives did the SAME exact thing last year - maybe this is where the writer took inspiration????
Sarah Palin had a baby in April of 2008. She only told people in March she was pregnant, and people didn't notice. Who wouldn't notice someone in their 7th month of pregnancy - and the 5th child to boot?!!? Only 4 months earlier she posed for Vogue Magazine and didn't look pregnant.
But the plot thickens. Supposedly her 16/17 year old daughter Bristol was missing from school for the last 4 - 5 months of the 'pregnancy' with a case of mono. You see where this is going, right? Of course, people say mother was covering for daughter!! True?
The day before Palin delivered, she was in TEXAS and gave a speech. Supposedly her water broke, but she gave the speech and then flew home. What mother gets on an airplane for an 11 or 12 hour flight AFTER the water has broken? Infection can happen in a heartbeat!!
Supposedly she got home that day and he - Trig Palin - was born the next morning. Suspicious? Very. Especially considering the mother is a runner and always is slim and looked slim before and after the delivery. AND she was in her office three days after the birth....what mother, especially one with FIVE kids, goes to work in three days.
Anyone else have information on this to credit/discredit the rumors????
